Brown Mock Trial!

Brown Mock Trial (BMT) is an entirely student-run organization, and competes on the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) circuit! We travel to tournaments across the country, competing as trial attorneys and witnesses in a fictional civil or criminal case. Recently, we’ve become one of Brown’s most successful student groups! We’ve had over a dozen All-American competitors and have competed at Nationals over 11 times, including a finish inside the top 6! We’re looking forward to another year of success!

Each college in the American Mock Trial Association builds a team of students, prepares a legal case, and competes head-to-head at various tournaments across the country. The competitors on our team are passionate about developing and showcasing their talent. So, if you enjoy any type of competition, this is the team for you!
